Playoff Bracket

The playoffs will look like this: (click image to zoom in)

That means the top six teams will get a bye in the first round (first two weeks).

If two teams tie then in the regular season standings, then the first tie breaker is head-to-head points in each week. For example, two teams are 1-1. The first week, team A won 9-3. The second week, team B won 7-5. Team A gets the higher seed.

In three way ties (or more), I'm not exactly sure of the best way to calculate. I'll post something on the Google-group. I'm thinking that we could use largest win differential (over the course of a season - points for/points against). But that may be a pain to calculate. Otherwise it will be some crazy head-to-head-to-head formula. That might be easier to calculate.

For now I think I'll go with head-to-head-to-head. If there's not a clear winner (no one team beat all other teams its tied with, then go with season point differential.

Whew!
