POW Hitting: Week 12

Welcome to the latest installment of Player of the Week (POW) award. There was plenty of production this week which is always fun to see. I had to have some limitations this week or the list could have easily topped out at 20 guys. So I tried to keep it to guys that had over 2 homeruns and batted over .350 for the week. The only exception was for Ryan Braun who had only 1 homerun but stole 3 bases and hit an amazing .419 for the week. If he would had shown more power he would have been a shoe in but he loses out to fellow team Hunter Pence for Player of the Week award.

Hunter Pence - FKAky
3 Hr's, 7 Rbi's, 8 R's, 1 Sb, .462 Avg, and 1.44 Ops
His extremely high average and Ops won it this week for Hunter. It also helped out that he nailed three homeruns.

Noteworthy:
Corey Hart - Diggleturb
2 Hr's, 7 Rbi's, 11 R's, 3 Sb's, .407 Avg, and 1.096 Ops
Corey had 2/3rds of his teams homeruns (3 total). He was a close second with Braun. His runs and SB numbers were great for this week.

Ryan Braun - FKAky
1 Hr, 8 Rbi's, 6 R's, 3 Sb's, .455 Avg, and 1.32 Ops
Low homerun total hurt Ryan this week but his other stats were amazing.

Alfonso Soriano - FKAky
4 Hr's, 7 Rbi's, 6 R's, 1 Sb, .419 Avg, and 1.36 Ops
Third FKAky player listed.

Josh Hamilton - Box Chowers
2 Hr's, 4 Rbi's, 5 R's, .400 Avg, and 1.33 Ops
Crack kills!

Troy Tulowitzki - Pickle Weasels
4 Hr's, 7 Rbi's, 7 R's, 1 Sb, .360 Avg, and 1.37 Ops
Tulo could have won it with a few extra base hits this week.

Chris Duncan - Heaters
2 Hr's, 7 Rbi's, 2 R's, .444 Avg, and 1.399 Ops
I want Duncan back!

Eric Byrnes - Heaters
2 Hr's, 7 Rbi's, 6 R's, 1 Sb, .379 Avg, and 1.034 Ops
Better numbers than Pujols this week...Todd is starting to look like a roto genius!

Luis Gonzalez - Beaners
2 Hr's, 9 Rbi's, 7 R's, .391 Avg, and 1.266 Ops
Not bad for being 42 years old!
